About the author, Del Jack

Del Jack was born and raised in Stockton, California. After completing three years of military service he entered Stockton Jr. College where he received an A.A degree then transferred to Sacramento State College (UCSC). There he received a B.A and a M.A. degree in American and British literature as well as a teaching credential. He retired after a 35 year career of teaching English in junior and senior High Schools and in Jr. Colleges with- in the Sacramento, California area.

Del has been a State Park Interpretive Ranger (Donner State Park), a Zoo docent and an auto mechanic.

Del loves to travel and has visited almost every country in Western Europe, as well as Greece, Turkey, Tanzania, Kenya, Mexico and Peru.

Del's interests are many and include art, poetry, Jazz, exotic plants, golf and fly fishing.

Del recently married Marilyn. Among them they now have 7 children, 11 grandchildren and a cat, Sally.

Del has published two middle- school novels: "The Gargoyle Bat" and "The Tombs of Montmartre". He has finished  a third, "The Killer has Shark's Teeth". He has completed an Adult Detective/Thriller, "Shining Like New Money" and is also working on a sequel, "The Building".
